The Jersey team worked with Caritas Mongolia to construct a Kindergarten in the very poor “Bayankhoshuu Ger Area” of Ulaanbaatar.

Based on such long experience in this area, Caritas Mongolia have discovered that children are particularly vulnerable and affected by the negative environment in which they live. Such a fragile situation severely hampers their healthy development. Just as importantly,parents often struggle to fulfill even the basic needs of their children and in the worst cases are forced to live on the streets and/or send their children to work.

Once completed, not only more children will be welcomed in, but also children will then have a better, safer and comfortable place to spend their days.
